A Chicago-based executive placement firm sought to increase their rank in a Google search. They specifically wanted to be shown on the first page of Google search returns. It was important for them to be placed competitively online against competitors, however, the firm had little experience with SEO and turned to Looper for help. Looper created a plan to increase the company’s ranking and set the goal of landing them in the top three, without spending on advertising. Our team designed and implemented a digital strategy that included original written content, posted bi-weekly, on issues pertinent to the placement of executives in verticals such as Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, Leadership, and Tech. The strategy to incorporate consistent and relevant content through ghost writing worked fairly quickly. Timely and consistent content was cross promoted on the company’s social media channels and the digital efforts began to increase the company’s Google ranking. After four months, the firm reached the number one placement on Google for their location and keywords. This placement was maintained throughout the duration of our two year engagement with the company.
